Sheet G1.1: IEBC 305.7 requires that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. If these items are in full compliance with the current code, provide a statement indicating this on the cover sheet of the drawings. Otherwise, accessibility upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7.
1. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. If this exemption is taken, accessibility upgrades equaling 20% of the cost of the project shall be made.
Sheet A2.1: Amend plans to provide expand on the method used to block the use of the basement and stairs from being accessed and used. IBC 107.2.1 For example: Locking hardware and signage No Occupancy in Basement, possibly add a screened top IBC 107.2.1

Sheet A2.1: Please amend plans to show the location and type of drinking fountain IBC 2902 or; When a single drinking fountain is required, it may be substituted with a point of use water cooler or dispenser. I could not find where the use of a break room sink is allowed as a substiture.
