Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. The grounding electrode system required in NEC 690.47 is in addition to any other grounding electrode system required elsewhere in the code. The continuous ground from the modules to the existing grounding electrode system does not meet the requirements of this section. 2.
