1. The grounding electrode system required in NEC 690.47 is in addition to any other grounding electrode system required elsewhere in the code. The continuous ground from the modules to the existing grounding electrode system does not meet the requirements of this section.

2. Provide a Grounding Electrode System at the detached structure supporting the solar modules per NEC 690.47.
