| 11/16/2023 | Commercial Electrical | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Please address the electrical plan review comments and provide a written response. 1. Per the Electrical Plan reviewers comment #1 and the Registrants response,” I don’t know how to respond to this. Do you want the description on the application rewritten?”. Neither the description of the scope of work nor the Electrical floor plan indicated what the electrical scope entailed in detail. The plan reviewer was simply seeking clarification from the Registrant of record pertaining to the scope of work. In order to perform an accurate assessment of the scope of work and plan review, the plan documents must clearly show the nature and extent of the work proposed. IBC 107.2.1. Please differentiate between the new proposed electrical work and the existing to remain. 2. Plan review comment #2 (Lighting). The interior luminaires were not addressed in the written response. Just the exterior. (a) If the interior luminaires are new, provide a complete luminaire schedule that correlates with the 2018 IECC compliance calculations. Provide compliance with the 2018 IECC for the interior lighting if applicable. (b) Indicate each light switch to its assigned luminaire. There are light switches shown on the walls with no apparent function, or connection to a luminaire(s). (c) Assign branch circuit numbers to all the lighting circuits on the electrical floor plan. (d) There is a luminaire in front of the Vending machine with no circuiting to it. Please show the branch circuiting on the plan. If the interior lighting is existing to remain, please indicate this on the electrical plan. 3. Per the Electrical plan review comment #3. (a) The panel schedule still makes reference to ‘Dwelling Unit’. Please revise. NEC 408.4 (b) Please be more specific for the branch circuit receptacle descriptions in the panel schedule or provide a note in the electrical plan that requires the electrical contractor to update the panel schedule with accurate descriptions of the receptacles purpose and locations prior to lob completion. NEC 408.4. (c) Indicate the branch circuit numbers for the exterior GFCI receptacles shown in the electrical floor plan and correlate with the panel schedule. NEC 408.4. (d) Please show the location of Panel ‘C’ in the electrical floorplan.
