Further the room is shown as being separated from the rest of the facility with a 1-hour fire barrier. Sheet A341 shows enlarged plans, and Detail 4 shows a section cut through the elevator and the elevator machine room, referencing Detail 1 on Sheet A343. Detail 1 doesn’t identify the elevator machinery room, and further it does not identify the 1-hour horizontal assembly formed at the top of the elevator machinery room, 16 feet above the machinery floor. Please indicate that the elevator machinery room walls AND the floor ceiling assembly that separates this room from the rest of the facility are separated with a 1-hour horizontal assembly as required by 2018 IBC Sec. 3005.4, and further provide on the plans the listing information for this horizontal assembly.
