Provide complete electrical plans, design, calculations, and sealed by an Arizona Registrant. Reference: Arizona Revised Statutes 32-125, Board of Technical Registration Rules R4-30-304, 2018 IBC section 107.1, 2017 NEC, City of Tucson Commercial Plan Submittal Requirements
08/31/2023 Commercial Mechanical REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide the U.S. Government Energy Guide that shows the proposed split-system AC unit has a SEER2 energy efficiency of 14.3 or greater. Split-system air conditioners that do not meet the new M1 Standards published by the Department of Energy cannot be installed after January 1, 2023. The new 2023 Standards for units <45,000 BTUH are 14.3 SEER2 which is equivalent to 15 SEER.
2. Electrical load calculations are required for services less than 150 Amp.
