2. S0.01 - DESIGN ASSUMPTIONS: The following structural design information shall be included in the construction documents per 2018 IBC Section 1603. Please include the following items in the structural general notes.

b. Basic seismic-force resisting system(s) for new canopies

c. Response modification coefficient(s), R

3. S1.03 - MISSING INFORMATION: Please specify a minimum embedment for all anchors specified in the Ledger Schedule on Sheet S1.03. If preferred, it is acceptable to include the minimum embed information on the individual framing details that show post-installed ledgers.

4. S4.01 - MISSING INFORMATION: In Detail 106 on Sheet S4.01, specify how the sill plates of new wood stud walls shall be anchored to the foundations. Include minimum fastener size, embedment and maximum spacing.

5. S5.01 - MISSING INFORMATION: In Details 213 & 224, confirm how the proposed HSS canopy beams are being spliced. If beams are being field welded, please provide a minimum weld size.

6. S5.01 & S5.02 - MISSING INFORMATION: Where framing details shown a new hot-rolled steel beam supported with post-installed anchors into an existing masonry or concrete wall (Details 218, 221 & 227), specify a minimum embedment length for proposed epoxy anchors.

7. S5.02 - MISSING INFORMATION: On details showing the new CMU parapet extension, please provide a minimum embedment length for grouted reinforcement (Details 228 & 235).

1. Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with the associated development package TD-DEV-0423-00202. Although it appears the building plan footprint, building height, and square footage are consistent with the submitted development package, Zoning cannot approve the building plans until all review agencies have approved TD-DEV-0423-00202. Please note that the proposed shade canopy within the vehicular use area is not depicted on the development package drawings. The canopy is required to be included within the scope of work of the development package to be approved under TC-COM-0823-01925.
