1. Provide GFCI protection for all kitchen receptacles, including the Range and Fridge, per NEC 210.8(A)(6) & 210.8(D)(8). Shall be readily accessible, per NEC 210.8, and may require GFCI breakers.
2. Show locations of each smoke alarm, [NFPA 72]. Must be inside each bedroom and in the immediate vicinity outside the bedrooms. Notate that all smoke alarms must be interconnected with a power source from the building wiring and be equipped with battery backup.
3. Show two or more 2O AMP small appliance circuits at the kitchen countertop receptacle outlets; they may also serve the breakfast room and dining room, but not other locations, NEC [210.52(C)(1)] and NEC [210.52(B)(1)]. GFCI protected, NEC [210.8(A)(6)]. (missing required 2 circuits in each panel/apartment. Panel B shows only a 15A kitchen circuit. Undersized).
4. Show Bathroom receptacles with a separate 20 AMP dedicated circuit, NEC [210.11(C)(3)] and NEC [210.52(D)].
5. Provide AFIC for all electrical outlets as listed in NEC 210.12(B). This includes kitchen outlets.
6. Designate the circuit number on the electrical plans, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each, new or modified light fixture, receptacle, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4. IBC 107.1.
7. Provide complete compliance with the 2018 IECC for the interior lighting, including sensors and lighting controls as required. (typically COMcheck.).
8. Panelboards shall not be located in the bathroom NEC 240.24(E). Show Sub-panel ‘B’ in code compliant location.
9. Provide Surge Protection as required per 2023 NEC 230.67, NEC 230.67(D).
