2. CASH WRAP COUNTER
a. Please provide a drawing illustrating the following.
b. The tops of work surfaces shall be 28 inches min & 34 inches max above the floor per ICC A117.1 sec 902.4.
c. Sec 306.3.3 Knee clearance shall be 11 inches min in depth at 9 inches above the floor, and 8 inches min in depth at 27 inches above the floor.
d. Sec 306.2.4 Additional toe clearance space extending greater than 6 inches beyond the available knee clearance at 9 inches above the floor.
e. Sec 306.3 Knee clearance shall be 30 inches min in width.
f. 904.3.2 Parallel approach, the counter surface 36 inches min length.
g. 904.3.3 Forward approach, the counter surface 30 inches min length.
3. FIRE PARTITION
a. Tenant separation using fire partition with fire-resistance rating of not less than 1 hour per IBC 402.4.2.1 and IBC 708 extend from the top of the foundation or floor/ceiling assembly below to the underside of the floor or roof sheathing, deck or slab above shall have penetration complying to IBC 714 and joints complying with IBC 715 protected by an approved fire-resistant joint system to resist the passage of fire for a time period not less than the required fire-resistance rating of the wall, floor or roof in or between which the system is installed.
b. Please provide a drawing illustrating this wall assembly.
4. DRINKING FOUNTAIN
a. Water Plumbing Plan sheet P6 does not show drinking fountain to be connected to water and waste line.
b. This is not a restaurant providing drinking water in a container free of charge (vending machine selling water is shown), therefore drinking fountains shall be required. In other occupancies where three or more drinking fountains are required, water dispensers shall be permitted to be substituted for not more than 50 percent of the required number of drinking fountains. IPC 410.4
5. TURNING SPACE
a. The turning space shall be a circular space with a 67-inch minimum diameter. ICC A117.1 sec 304.3.1.1
b. The back area at the Dryers requires this accessible turning space.
c. Please resolve this code required item on your drawings.
6. DEAD END CORRIDOR
a. The space behind the dryers is a dead end corridor.
b. Please address this issue properly to be code compliant, show the length dimension on the plan.
c. Where more than one exit or exit access doorway is required, the exit access shall be arranged such that dead-end corridors do not exceed 20 feet in length. IBC 1020.5

2. .Revise the location of the cold water shut off valve in the water heater detail, 1/P10, so that expansion tank is located downstream of the check valve and the shut off valve. Reference: Section 607.3, IPC 2024.
3. Provide cleanouts for all horizontal drains; the cleanouts shall not be located greater than 100-feet apart, measured along the developed pipe length from the upstream entrance of the cleanout. Reference: Section 708.1.1, IPC 2024.
4. An approved 2-way cleanout fitting is a single fitting, not a field-assembled group of individual fittings as shown in detail 3/P10. Reference: Section 708.1.9, IPC 2024.
5. Show that each trench drain has been vented in accordance with one of the methods shown in the IPC. Reference: Sections 901.2.1 and 905.2, IPC 2024.
6. Revise the configuration of the natural gas sediment traps, as shown on P8, to comply with the requirements of Section 408.4, IFGC 2024 (i.e. the sediment trap is to be located downstream of the appliance shutoff valve, as close to the appliance as possible).

1. COMMENT: On sheet 0, under Project Information, update the Use from Business to Commercial Services-Personal Services per UDC 4.9.13.P.

2. COMMENT: The vehicular parking requirements for Personal Services are 1 stall per 300 square feet of gross floor area. Update this from the 200 currently shown under Project Information on sheet 0.

3. COMMENT: Per Comment #2, ten vehicular spaces will be required. There are two places on sheet 0 where this will need to be updated per UDC TABLE 7.4.4-1.

4. COMMENT: Two short-term and two long-term bicycle parking spaces will need to be provided per UDC Table 7.4.8-1. Provide the locations and appropriate details in the drawing package.

5. COMMENT: Additional comments may be forthcoming on the next review based on responses to Zoning and other PDSD reviewer comments.
