The City of Tucson concluded that the State of Arizona categorizes this as an FBB (Factory Built Structure). b. Please contact and submit to the State of Arizona Department of Housing and inquire about their Plan Review Approval as well as their Factory Built Building Installation Permit. c. Please contact the State of Arizona Factory Built Buildings using the contact info within this following website, housing.az.gov/programs/office-of-manufactured-housing at (602) 771-1000. d. Once the state has approved, submit the State approved/sealed/dated documents/drawings by uploading it with your response to these comments into your building permit record via the city’s online website. e. The city will not approve the structure's building permit without this State sealed/approved drawings. f. The city will review for everything else that the State does not process including the utilities. g. The State will also issue an Installation Plan Approval (Please inquire with the state on this Installation Plan Approval required prior to placement of the structure at the site). The city will not approve the building permit without this installation approval. h. The city will issue a building permit. i. The State will do the inspection of the structure itself and issue their own version of clearance to the utilities such as Tucson Electric Power, etc. Please ensure to coordinate with the state. j. The City will conduct inspections that are relegated to the city to complete the process including the utilities. 2. SHEET AG-1 and E1.0 EMERGENCY SHUT-OFF (ESO) a. On gridline 3/B2, an ESO is called out at this location. b. An approved emergency disconnect switch shall be provided at an approved location to stop the transfer of fuel to the fuel dispensers in the event of a fuel spill or other emergency. c. The emergency disconnect switch for exterior fuel dispensers shall be provided with ready access and shall be located within 100 feet of, but not less than 20 feet from the fuel dispensers. Such devices shall be distinctly labeled as: “EMERGENCY FUEL SHUTOFF.” Signs shall be provided in approved locations. IFC 2303.2 d. This particular ESO is less than 20 ft from fuel dispensers. e. Please correct this anomaly. 3. Please provide a special inspection certificate with Part A, and Part B completed with next submittal. An appeal to the Building Official is required for consideration of alternate methods. 3. There are two light poles on the West side along the exit lanes of the fuel station. Show these two light poles as relocated and where they get their power from. Power to these poles cannot cross property boundaries. |

The replacement, relocation and installation of new lighting fixtures requires compliance with the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code. 2. Provide an outdoor site lighting plan that meets the requirements of OLC 104.2. Show/locate the different light sources on your site plan, both new and existing. Number the light fixtures on your lighting fixture table and use the same number on your site plan. 3. List the Lighting Area per OLC (typically E3) chapter 3 and used in Table 401.1. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. 4. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation. 5. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. 6. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1. 7. Provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets for the outdoor lighting fixtures. Include the lumen and color temperature values for each outdoor fixture type. 8.
