IBC 107.2.6 2. Sheet AR401: Please revise the men’s and women’s restrooms and locker rooms to demonstrate compliance with the following accessibility requirements: A. Provide a 67-inch turning space within each restroom and locker room. 2017 ICC A117.1 Section 304.3.1.1. B. Provide an accessible bench in each locker room, including the required clear floor space. 2017 ICC A117.1 Sections 903 and 305.3. C. Provide accessible lockers. At least 5 percent, but not less than one, of the lockers shall be accessible in each locker room. Identify the accessible lockers on the plans. IBC Section 1110.17. D. Revise the plans to clearly identify the required accessible features in both the men’s and women’s restrooms and locker rooms, including turning spaces, accessible benches with clear floor space, and accessible lockers. IBC 107.2.1 3. Sheet AR 401: lease provide vertical and horizontal dimensions on the enlarged restroom floor plans and all interior elevations to clearly demonstrate compliance with applicable accessibility requirements. Provide a classification for each chemical being used, and if necessary, show the classification Zones and locations per NEC chapter 5. 3. If classified zones are required to be designated, provide wiring methods fore each area per the appropriate sections of NEC chapter 5. 5. The piping downstream of the double check valve, serving the hydronic make-up water connection, the two cooling towers and the hose bibb appears to be a possible cross-connection. How are you preventing a cross connection? Reference: Section 608.7, IPC2024. 2. A private sewer collection system that includes manholes will require a review of the system design by the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality as well as a building permit from the City of Tucson. In addition, the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality requires the Engineer of Record to conduct specific inspections during construction. Show the existing lighting on parcel 10610003G updated to meet code for color temperature, shielding and lumens per unshielded fixture. 3. Per OLC Table 401.1, the Maximum Total Outdoor Lighting Output is based on the Developed Area of the sight. “Lumen Caps: Developed Area Lumens per Acre”. When calculating the maximum allowable lumens, exclude the undeveloped wash area on the W/SW area of the property. |

Please do not mark or highlight changes in the drawings at this stage — revision markups are only used after a permit has been issued. Submit your response letter and updated plan set as two separate files. Site Engineering Review Comments: 1. Site Engineering has completed its review of the submitted building plan set and cross-referenced it against the associated Development Package. However, final approval of this Commercial permit cannot be granted until the associated submission of the Development Package TD-DEV-0626-00148 has received full approval and has been issued. Per UDC §3.3.3.G, building permits for sites requiring a Development Package may not be issued prior to DP approval, as the building plans must be consistent with an approved site plan. Please resubmit for final approval once the Development Package has been approved and issued by all applicable reviewers. |
