Identify what units are the Accessible Units (identify which unit contains roll-in showers), Hearing and Visually impaired units, & Type A units on the floor plan and provide the calculation as to how the number of units for each type were calculated. 2. SHEET A601: Identify glass used that are safety glass. 3. Sheet S102 required special inspections. Please provide a list of special inspections related to the Tower/Apartment plans drawings. Ideally, please enter this on the cover sheet if possible. 4. In Group R-2 occupancies Type A units shall be dispersed among the various classes of units per IBC 1108.6.2.2.1 This included the Duplexes present on-site. Please locate and label these on the plans. 5. Where two or more Type A units are provided, at least 5 percent but not less than one Type A unit shall include a bathroom with a shower complying with ICC A117.1 Please locate and identify these on the plans. 6. Reinforcement per ICC A117.1 section 1103.11.1 Type A units. Reinforcement shall be provided for installation now and in the future of grab bars complying with Section 604.5 at water closets; grab bars complying with Section 607.4 at bathtubs; and for grab bars and shower seats complying with Sections 608.3, 608.2.1.3, 608.2.2.3 and 608.2.3.2 at shower compartments. Please locate and label these on the plan. Please locate ad label these on the plans. 7. SHEET A404 The following is not clear on the drawings, please add the information on the drawings: Refrigerator/freezer combination shall have at least 50 percent of the freezer compartment shelves, including the bottom of the freezer 54 inches maximum above the floor when the shelves are installed at the maximum heights possible in the compartment. A clear floor space, positioned for a parallel approach to the refrigerator/freezer, shall be provided. The centerline of the clear floor space shall be offset 24 inches maximum from the centerline of the appliance. 8. Please resubmit. |

Designate the circuit number on the electrical plans, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each existing, new or modified light fixture, receptacle, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4. IBC 107.1. 14. Provide Fault Current Analysis and show new equipment, breakers, chargers and panels AIC rating sufficient to withstand the calculated Fault Current. Provide Available Fault Current calculations from TEP transformers to all new equipment, 2023 NEC 110.24, NEC 110.9, 110.10. 15. Provide all breaker AIC ratings, not just the available fault current at the equipment, to ensure compliance with NEC 110.9 & NEC 240.86. 16. Show all wiring methods in detail for all circuit conductors and feeders. Conductor type and conduit size/type. Note wet use requirements. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. Reference sheet ES101, which points to the One-Line-Diagram for more information, but there is no conductor or conduit sizing or type information given on either ES101 or EP701. Beginning on January 1, 2023, the Department of Energy minimum efficiency standards for central air conditioning systems was increased from 14.0 to 15.0 SEER using DOE’s pre-2023 appendix M test procedure. Also, based on the DOE definition of the installation of a central air conditioner, all equipment not operational on January 1, 2023, in the Southwest region, must have an Energy Guide label identifying a SEER2 or SEER2/EER2 rating. 4. The required continuous local exhaust rate for kitchens in an R-2 occupancy is 50 CFM. EF-1A is scheduled for only 30 CFM. Reference: Section 403.3.2.3, IMC 2024.
