COMMENTS:

1. Please verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the lavatory complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2024 (e.g., 24” for ½” hot water supply piping).
2. Please specify a metering faucet for the lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10 seconds. Reference: Section 412.13, IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. Provide a detail of the water heater installation above the mop sink, including the method of support, excess pressure relief, expansion tank, vacuum relief or other anti-siphon device, safety pan, and valves. Reference: Sections 503.1 [connections & SOV], 504 [Safety devices], 606.1 [valves], 607.2 [recirculation], and 607.3 [thermal expansion control], IPC 2024.
