The scope of this review covers the architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical designs as they relate to the codes adopted by the jurisdiction. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. The code analysis should include the Occupancy Group for the existing building, construction type, occupant load, if existing fire sprinklers/alarms are installed, etc. [Ref. IBC 2018 Sec. 107.2.1] 2. Note on the cover of the drawings that special inspection is required for field welding. Also, provide City of Tucson special inspection certificate(s) with Parts A and B completed. Make sure that the owner or their legal representative signs the form. 3. Please revise the applicable codes for this project to the 2018 International Codes as adopted by the City of Tucson. The 2024 codes indicated are not what the City of Tucson has currently adopted. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS General 1. Please provide the structural calculations for the structural design. Sheet S1.00 1. The location of the chiller on this sheet conflicts with the locations indicated on the architectural and MEP plan-sets. Please correlate and revise accordingly. 2. Please clarify the chiller curb construction details. The framing plan indicates the RPS Curb is by others, but the mechanical plan-set indicates it will be installed on the existing rails. Please coordinate and revise accordingly. If a new curb is to be installed provide details on installation. {This comment was included in the Mechanical Section as well.} Sheet S2.00 1.
