Property is listed as a contributor to the Sunshine Mile National Register Historic District. Removal of the character-defining store front will adversely impact the status. The Sunshine Mile prohibit delisting/negative impact. Please send your plans to the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) for a determination of "no adverse effect". To ensure that the proposed store front demo is consistent with the district, I would recommend that you run your plans by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) for a courtesy review.
