The scope of this review covers the architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical designs as they relate to the codes adopted by the jurisdiction. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. Previous Comment: Exit access stairways that connect levels in the same story are not permitted as part of an accessible means of egress. The stair located at the back exit is an exit access stair connecting levels of the same story. Please revise. [Ref. IBC 2018 Sec. 1009.3.1] Still Required: The response to comments indicates the use of the main entrance as the only exit. The common path of travel for the rooms is measured “as the crow flies” on the Life Safety Plan. Means of egress is path of vertical and horizontal travel (right angles). When measured this way, the office/conference area common path of travel distance is 110’. This exceeds the maximum common path of travel distance of 100’. Please revise. [Ref.
