The use of a water dispenser in lieu of a drinking fountain requires the installation of a listed and labeled dispenser along with a permanently mounted disposable cup dispenser. The cup dispenser shall be located adjacent to the water dispenser with the dispensing end between 34” and 48” above the finished floor. Horizontal branches shall connect no closer than ten diameters downstream of the bases of vertical stacks (i.e. the 3” waste down from the main floor). Reference: Section 704.3, IPC 2018. 8.
