| 07/02/2026 | Air Balancing/Commissioning Report (Deferred Submittal) Express | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | An Appeal to the Building Official to use the Smart IAQ Clean Air System (CAS-1) to reduce the required flowrate of outside air to the basement bar (TC-BCA-1224-00050) was approved based on the proposed installation of the unit as shown on drawing M1.1 (Revision 2). CAS-1 was to draw 300 CFM from the bar area near the elevator, process the air , and then reintroduce the air into the main area of the bar. The air balance report, however, shows that CAS-1 draws the air from the adjacent storage room and discharges the processed air into the bar area near the elevator. CAS-1 is also moving only 63% of the design air flowrate. If CAS-1 cannot be installed per the approved plans, a plan revision is needed.
