Provide and show the parking on a site plan to include the handicap stall and signs and striped accessible route, don't forget to locate/label the bicycle rack as well. 4. Existing Doors: Accessible door opening shall be typical a minimum clear opening width of 32 inches. The clear opening width of doorways with swinging doors shall be measured between the face of the door and the stop, with the door open 90 degrees. Where a door opening includes two door leaves without a mullion, one leaf shall provide a minimum clear opening width of 32 inches. In Group I-2, doors where used for the movement of beds shall provide a minimum clear opening width of 411/2 inches. The maximum width of a swinging door leaf shall be 48 inches nominal. The minimum clear opening height of doors shall be not less than 80 inches per IBC 1010.1.1. 5. New Wall: Located on either side of the property line, Match the existing wall. Party Walls - Fire walls shall have a fire-resistance rating of not less than that required by IBC Table 706.4. Per 706.2 Fire walls shall be designed and constructed to allow collapse of the structure on either side without collapse of the wall under fire conditions using non-combustible materials.706.1.1 Party walls. Any wall located on a lot line between adjacent buildings, which is used or adapted for joint service between the two buildings, shall be constructed as a fire wall in accordance with Section 706. Party walls shall be constructed without openings and shall create separate buildings. 6. Detail A2/D-1 Tenant Demising Wall: Show existing structure, is it built with trusses, how does the fire wall at the top terminates to accomplished the required fire rating. 7. Please resubmit. |

The lavatories are noted as existing but the Plumbing Fixture Schedule appears to show new lavatories and faucets to be installed. If the lavatories are being replaced, or if only the faucets are being replaced, the replacement faucets for the lavatories shall be metering faucets. The metering faucets shall dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 412.11, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 2. Item #13 of the Plumbing Specifications refers to “IPC Appendix G”. Where can this be found? Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 3. Correct errors in detail P11/D2. Identify the largest water heater that may use the proposed supporting frame and wall construction. Clarify which is the cold water piping and the which is the hot water piping; the expansion tank and the vacuum relief valve are to be located on the cold water inlet to the water heater. Heat traps are not required on recirculating systems. The size of the expansion tank is dependent upon the volume of water in the hot water system, the water pressure, and the water temperature: one size does not fit all systems.
