This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Show the location of the panel on the Electrical Plan with clear working space compliance, 2017 NEC 110.26(A) 2. Show the location of the existing panel on the Electrical Plan and indicate if it will be replaced as a junction point for existing circuits, 110.3(B) or a sub-panel with new feeder conductors, 2017 NEC 230.70 & 240.24(B). 3. The existing panel appears to be in the shared wall between the two units. This wall requires a 1hr fire rating, IBC Table 706.4. 4. Provide Tenant separation using fire partition with fire-resistance rating of not less than 1 hour per IBC 402.4.2.1 and IBC 708 extend from the top of the foundation or floor/ceiling assembly below to the underside of the floor or roof sheathing, deck or slab above shall have penetration complying to IBC 714 and joints complying with IBC 715 protected by an approved fire-resistant joint system to resist the passage of fire for a time period not less than the required fire-resistance rating of the wall, floor or roof in or between which the system is installed.
