1. Show the location of the panel on the Electrical Plan with clear working space compliance, 2017 NEC 110.26(A)
2. Show the location of the existing panel on the Electrical Plan and indicate if it will be replaced as a junction point for existing circuits, 110.3(B) or a sub-panel with new feeder conductors, 2017 NEC 230.70 & 240.24(B).
3. The existing panel appears to be in the shared wall between the two units. This wall requires a 1hr fire rating, IBC Table 706.4.
4. Provide Tenant separation using fire partition with fire-resistance rating of not less than 1 hour per IBC 402.4.2.1 and IBC 708 extend from the top of the foundation or floor/ceiling assembly below to the underside of the floor or roof sheathing, deck or slab above shall have penetration complying to IBC 714 and joints complying with IBC 715 protected by an approved fire-resistant joint system to resist the passage of fire for a time period not less than the required fire-resistance rating of the wall, floor or roof in or between which the system is installed.
