5. DEFERRED SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
Structural general notes are to include any components of the building that may be considered deferred submittals. IBC Section 107.3.4.1 requires deferred submittals to be approved by the building official.

If items will be deferred the plans are to clearly note the following per IBC Section 107.3.4.1:

* To be reviewed by design professional in responsible charge.

* Design professional shall affix a notation that the deferred items are in general conformance with their design of the building.

* They shall be submitted for review by the building official.

* Shall not be installed until approved by building official.

Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings.

1. Sheet G001: The base allowable area is incorrect. Since non-separated mix use is being used, the most restrictive base allowable area is required to be used. The A-3 use is the most restrictive. Provide a corrected allowable base area.

2. Sheet G003: Provide clarification as to why both the E and I-4 occupancy classification is being used? If the children are always going to be under 2.5 years of age classify it as an E. If the ages are going to be unknown and the amount of children fluctuate frequently, used the I-4 designation.

3. Sheet G003: Rooms that are designated at I-4 use are required to have not less than two exits. Provide additional exits in accordance with Section 1006.2.2.4.

4. General: Provide clarification on the uses of the adjacent tenant spaces to ensure proper tenant separation.

5. Sheet A102:8.Exercise equipment is required have clear floor space for access. Ensure clear floor space in accordance with Section 236.1 of the 2010 ADAAG.

6. Sheet A102: Provide section detail drawings of the exercise platforms. It appears that the ramps may not meet the maximum slope requirements for accessibility in accordance with Section 1012.2.

7. Sheet A102: It appears that the minimum aisle width have not been maintained between the back of the equipment and the next platform. Provide evidence of compliance in accordance with Section 1018.

8. All RCP: Indicate the location of all EXIT and EXIT directional signage within the Life Safety Plan. Coordinate these locations with the electrical designer. (2018 IBC Sec. 1008 and 1013)

1). Plan page P601 water heater schedule list a EWH-1 point of use EEmax water heater, there is not a EWH-1 shown on the water piping plan P401, and this doesn't correlate with the existing 1" hot water system shown supplying the hot piping in the
remodeled areas. See P111 & P401. plan pages need to correlate -IPC 106.3.1

2). Lavs on P601 need ASSE 1070 mixing valves - IPC 419.5

3). P602 trap primer detail needs a shut off valve - IPC 606.2
