AWS D-19.0 calls for welds on galvanized steel to be free of zinc. Field welds on galvanized parts requires the removal of the zinc coating in the area of weld. Provide zinc paint (approved by the galvanizer) and apply as required to the weld and steel area to provide protection. 1. Provide galvanized bolts on the framing connections that are galvanized. 2. Refer to drawing S301, Roof Framing Plan. A beam CB3 is marked at Line A and 3. Canopy beam schedule does not show this beam. Verify and make revisions as needed. 3. Refer to Structural Calculations pages 99, 100 and 101 for the Lateral Analysis Diaphragm Check. The Enercalc calculations show member failing in Bending and Shear. Verify and make revisions as needed. 4. Refer to Structural Drawing S301, Roof Framing Plan. The Plan shows RTU’s with weights 500# and 600#. Refer to Mechanical Drawing M1, the Schedule shows RTU’s weights as 780#. Verify and make revisions as needed. Zoning has reviewed the building plan for compliance with DP20-0189 and the site plan provided in the building plan set does not match the approved DP. If you are proposing changes a revised DP is required to be submitted and approved prior to approval of this building permit. 2. Several site details on sheet A103 do not match the details on the DP.
