GENERAL - VERIFICATION FROM EOR: Section 107.3.4.1 of the 2018 International Building Code lists the requirements for construction documents provided as deferred submittals: "Documents for deferred submittal items shall be submitted to the registered design professional in responsible charge who shall review them and forward them to the building official with a notation indicating that the deferred submittal documents have been reviewed and found to be in general conformance to the design of the building". This notation may be in the form of a Review Stamp affixed to the PEMB shop drawings or a letter, signed and sealed by the engineer of record, that confirms that the shop drawings have been reviewed and are in general conformance with their original construction drawings.
