Sheet A621: Please revise the plans to show compliance with the following requirements. IMC 306.5 Equipment or appliances on roofs or elevated structures. A. Please show the side railing shall extend above the landing platform not less than 42 inches. B. Details A621/11 & A621/12: Ladders shall have a toe spacing not more than 12 inches away from the wall The spacing appears to be 18 inches on exceed these numbers C. Sheet A131: Please revise the plans to show the top landing 30 inches deep and as wide as the hatch on roof plan. IBC 107.2.1 Building Review Comment 3. Structural: Please provide structural calculations for the Dock Pit walls. Building Review Comment 4. Please revise the Special Inspection Certificate as follows. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation. |

To help speed up your resubmittal and facilitate shorter review timelines, please include a response letter along with your updated plans and any supporting calculations. In your response letter, address each comment individually and explain what changes were made and where they can be found in the plans. Please do not mark or highlight changes in the drawings at this stage — revision markups are only used after a permit has been issued. Submit your response letter and updated plan set as two separate files. Site Engineering Review Comments: 1. Site Engineering has completed its review of the submitted building plan set and cross-referenced it against the associated Development Package. However, final approval of Commercial TC-COM-0626-00893 cannot be granted until the associated submission of the Development Package TD-DEV-0426-00087 has received full approval and has been issued. Per UDC §3.3.3.G, building permits for sites requiring a Development Package may not be issued prior to DP approval, as the building plans must be consistent with an approved site plan. Please resubmit for final approval once the Development Package has been approved and issued by all applicable reviewers. For final approval, ensure the building plans match the approved DP with regard to footprint, proposed height, and square footage, and that the downspout and structure drainage systems shown in the building plans are consistent with those depicted in the Development Package plan set. |

COMMENT: Zoning has completed its review of the submitted building plan set and cross-referenced it against the associated Development Package (DP). However, final approval of Commercial TC-COM-0626-00893 cannot be granted until the associated submission of the DP application TD-DEV-0426-00087 has received full approval and has been issued. Per UDC Section 3.3.3.G, building permits for sites requiring a DP may not be issued prior to DP approval, as the building plans must be consistent with an approved site plan.
