If additional information is not provided, the permit fees will be assessed based on the calculated valuation in accordance with IBC 109.3 and the adopted fee schedule. 3. Please amend plans to show how the accessibility elements have been upgraded. IEBC 306.7.1 requires that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. (Change of Occupancy is treated as an alteration In the IEBC0 Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. If these items are not fully compliant, upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7. For example, the addition of grab bars in the restroom would likely satisfy this requiremet A. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c, a site plan (DP) is required for, an “existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or reconfiguration of an area outside a building.” A DP that meets the requirements of Administrative Manual (AM) 2-06 must be submitted and approved prior to approval of this building permit.
