Sheet G1.1: Please provide code compliant accessible route showing ramps with 5’x5’ landings at change of direction [405.7.4], handrails, when ramps exceed 6” of rise [405.8], and edge protection [405.9]. 2009 ICC A117.1 Additionally, show new ramp construction details on the plan. IBC 107.2.1 3. Sheet G1.0: Please update the Occupancy Load to match [IBC Table 1004.5] for the occupant load factor. For example, the occupant load factor for an office would be 150 instead of 60. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Clarify the branch-circuit notations as shown on the Lighting Plan and Power Plan. The circuit connections and circuit start points appear to indicate that Multi-Wire Branch Circuits are being used. For instance the notation L1-5,7,9 for office power would indicate a multi-wire branch circuit for power. 2. Multi-wire branch circuits require the following: 210.4(B) Simultaneously disconnect all ungrounded conductors. 240.15(B)(1) Identified handle ties. Show/locate the different light sources on your site plan. Number the light fixtures on your lighting fixture table and use the same number on your site plan. 3. List the Lighting Area per OLC chapter 3 and used in Table 401.1. Specify the compliance option from Table 401.1 that is being used. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. 4. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation. 5. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1. 6. Fixtures installed under canopies and overhangs. Outdoor lighting fixtures shall not be counted in determining the total light output when they are full cutoff light fixtures installed under canopies, building overhangs, or roof eaves, OLC 401.2.1(3). 7. Provide the manufacturers specification sheets for the LED lighting fixtures to show lumens, color temperature, cutoff status. 8. Specify any exceptions used. 9. The proposed plans show a reconfiguration of the parking lot with new proposed spots. Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c A Development Package is required for the following types of development: “Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building.” A development package (DP) meeting the requirements for Commercial/Industrial Sites is required to be submitted and approved. The DP is a separate submittal from the building permit. Site Engineering will not approve this building permit until the development package is approved by all reviewers. The site is in the C-3 zone (UDC 4.7.22). Construction Service is an allowed use in the zone (UDC Table 4-8-4). 1. The submitted plans appear to indicate the development and striping of a new parking area where none existed before. Per UDC 3.3.3.G.2.c., a development package is required on a commercial site when there is a "reconfiguration of an area outside of a building". Please submit a development package that meets the requirements indicated at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Planning-Development-Services/Permits/Development-Package. Site Zoning approval of this building permit cannot occur until the development package is first approved. 2. Sheet G1.1 Detail 7 provide the overall rise of the proposed ramp, ICC A117.1, Section 405.6. 3. Sheet G1.1 Detail 7 provide the cross slope of the proposed ramp, ICC A117.1, Section 405.3. 4.
