08/25/2025 Water Sterilization Report (Deferred Submittal) Express REQUIRES RESUBMIT The submitted water analysis does not include the results of the required bacteriologic examination. The disinfection report, required by Section 610.1, IPC 2018, starts with injecting chlorine into the water distribution pipes, includes a holding time that depends on the chlorine concentration followed by a purge of the chlorine. Once the chlorine concentration has dropped to the level contained in the municipal water supply, the water samples are tested by an Arizona licensed testing laboratory for the presence of E. coli and other coliform bacteria. I suggest that you discuss this issue with Complete Analytical Services and then submit a disinfection report per Section 610, IPC 2018. Complete Analytical Services does significant number of the water disinfection analyses that are submitted to the City of Tucson, so they know how to do the reports.
