Uplift Calculation Information to be submitted based on the 115 MPH 3 second wind gust and the Roof Load Calculation showing the maximum allowable of 40 lbs per point load and maximum allowable of 4 lbs per square foot on roof. Allowance shall be provided for equipment weighing a maximum of 4 psf. The 4 psf allowance is applicable to conventional roofs (wood/steel deck and joist/beam or truss systems), exclusive of engineered metal buildings. Point loads not exceeding 45 lbs shall be provided a clear radius within which no other point load radiuses shall impinge. Uplift pressure to comply to the 2018 IBC 3111. These items are the responsibility of the Applicant and their Aizona registrant Structural Engineer. 2. Please resubmit. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Show interconnection in compliance with NEC 705.32. Reference also NEC 230.95 705.32 Ground-Fault Protection. Where ground-fault protection is used, the output of an interactive system shall be connected to the supply side of the ground-fault protection. Exception: Connection shall be permitted to be made to the load side of ground-fault protection, if there is ground-fault protection for equipment from all ground-fault current sources. 2. Note or show compliance with NEC 705.22 item 1. 705.22 Disconnect Device.
