08/05/2024 Commercial Mechanical REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Revise the section references in the IECC Notes (sheet M2) to correspond to the Commercial Provisions of the 2018 IECC.
2. Provide air balancing data for the Type I hood, the makeup air unit, exhaust fans, and other sources of outside air to verify that the room pressure remains essentially neutral. Reference: Section 501.4, IMC 2018.
3. Smoke detectors shall be installed in the return air duct, upstream of any outside air connections, for all air distribution systems moving than 2,000 CFM (See keynote 2, Sheet M2). Reference: Section 606.2.1, IMC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson.
08/05/2024 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. New gas-fired cooking appliances are scheduled for installation under the Type I hood. Show how the complete natural gas piping system will be modified. Provide a natural gas piping design, including the piping layout on a floor plan and a natural gas schematic showing the sizes, loads and developed lengths of the piping. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
2. Revise the location of the existing indirect waste receptor that is shown located under the Turbo-Air refrigerator and the point-of -sale cash register to be visible for inspection and with ready access for cleaning or remove the indirect waste receptor. Reference: Section 802.4, IPC 2018.
08/06/2024 Commercial Structural REQUIRES RESUBMIT Please submit your revised documents and provide a letter with a written response letter to address each of the comments indicating how the Building Review comments were addressed. Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed.
