2 The full scope of electrical work associated with the Renovation is not shown. The panels schedules appear to indicate new or revised branch circuits for power and lighting. There was no electrical site or power and lighting plans submitted. This facility also qualifies as a hazardous facility per NEC art 511.

Please provide complete sealed electrical plans. Electrical design and calculations performed by an Arizona registered Electrical Engineer who has demonstrated proficiency through registration, education, technical knowledge, or experience to perform such work.

07/18/2024 Commercial Mechanical REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans (EF-1, EF-2, EF-4, and EF-5) so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted (i.e. all of the air supplied to each restroom is to be exhausted during the hours of operation even if the lights are off). The exhausted air from the restrooms shall be limited to no more than 10% of any subsequent supply air stream. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2018.
2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the new HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C502.2.3, IECC 2018.
07/18/2024 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. For the use of PEX tubing, provide a branch tube sizing chart showing the correct size of PEX tubing to be used as a substitute for the copper pipe shown on the drawings. Reference: Sections 303.2 and 604.3, IPC 2018.
2. Provide metering faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. For accessibility, verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018.
