By: Ron Ross PE
ES-1: Could not locate Plan Note #7.
E-1:
Need to provide weather proof GFI service receptacles within 25 feet of exterior HVAC equipment on North side of building per NEC 210.63.
Could not locate Power Note 25.
E-1.1: Need to provide weather proof GFI service receptacles within 25 feet of all exterior HVAC/RTU equipment whether on the ground or on the roof per NEC 210.63 ie Condensing units on the NE corner may need a WP GFI receptacle.
E-2:
Could not locate Lighting Note 3.
No description for Lighting Note 8.
E-3: No description for Lighting Note 27.
E-4: Panel A is called out as MLO panel on Engraved Placard. This is an NEC violation as there is no protection on the feeders from the disconnect to the panels. Either provide an MDP in place of Service Disconnect, comply with Tap rule (provide an MCB in panels A, B, and C to comply with NEC 240.21), or upsize panels and conductors to rating of the service Fused Disconnect (NEC 240.2).
E-5: Tucson City requires Short Circuit calculations for all panels. Provide calculation. The source current is typically obtained from the local utility tables made available by the local utility provider or you can estimate Short circuit available at transformer based upon the largest transformer that would be requested for the site. Where Short circuit values fall below 5,000 amps, no further downstream calculations are required.
