The Air Conditioning Installation Template calls for a split system heat pump (GSZM4) but the Heating/cooling load calculations specify a split system air conditioner with electric heat (GSXM4). 3. Clarify the maximum overcurrent protection. The heat pump has a maximum overcurrent protection of 30 Amps while the AC condensing unit has a maximum overcurrent protection of 25 Amps, not the 35 Amps as shown on the Air Conditioning Installation Template. 4. Verify the SEER2 (and HSPF2 if the unit is a heat pump) rating. The manufacturer shows a SEER2 range of 13.8 to 14.5 for both units. The minimum acceptable SEER2 is 14.3 for this area. |
