Per plan sheet PV1.0. The scope of work involves removing all the PV modules from both ‘A’ and ‘B’ roofs and relocating the 15 PV Modules from roof ‘B’ to roof ‘A’ and installing a new PV racking system. The note in the ‘SCOPE OF WORK Description’ states, “NO CHANGE TO DC OR AC ELECTRICAL CONFIGURATION”, “SEE T16CM00133 FOR ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION”. Due to the fact, that the reinstallation will require a degree of Electrical Engineering because of having to modify the string wiring to accommodate the merging of Roof ’B’ modules and Roof ‘A’ modules onto one roof ‘A’. And the installation of a new PV racking system, It is the determination of the City of Tucson Electrical plan Reviewer to require updated Electrical Plans and an updated PV system that meets the current NEC requirements, Including Rapid Shutdown requirements. Re submitted plans must have design, calculations and be sealed by an Arizona Registrant.

Be advised, if desired, the applicant may appeal to the Building Official for a variance to the plan Reviewers Comments. This is always an available option.
