09/05/2023 | Commercial Mechanical | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Odor mitigation for this dispensary is limited to ionizers located in each of the three rooftop units. The units take in a total of 520 CFM of outside air but it is not known if the units are equipped with power exhaust. The two restroom exhaust fans, with a total exhaust of 200 CFM, have no provisions for odor mitigation but apparently only operate intermittently. This imbalance of outside air and exhaust can lead to a pressurization of the building with excess air (and odors) flowing out through doors and other openings. Clarify how the proposed HVAC system will be able to prevent internal odors from being emitted from the building. | ||
