The plans indicate closing three existing openings to the neighboring tenant space. It is unknown if the existing doors are part of the egress pathway for the neighboring tenant and how or if this will affect their life safety. Show the neighboring tenant floor plan and indicate the exiting is not through these existing openings to be infilled and closed. 4. Clarify if the existing wall that is now a demising wall between the tenant is required to be fire rated. If so, note it as such on the drawings and indicate that any openings, existing or new within barrier will be filled to match or exceed the fire rating of the wall. 2018 IBC 714. 5. Identify the use of the two areas that indicate “architect unable to access” and the existing space 105 on the floor plan sheet A1.0. 6. Indicate on the drawings that Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with 2018 IFC section 906.2. 7. Indicate on the finish plan notes on sheet A1.2 that all interior finishes will be in accordance with 2018 IBC 803.1. 8. Clarify the ceiling finishes, the partition types on sheet G1.1 indicate a new ACT system however the finish plan on sheet A1.2 indicates a painted ceiling. Coordinate the drawings. If ACT tile as noted in the finish legend on sheet A1.3 is to be used, provide a detail for its hanging support and show the grid on the drawings. 9. Provide a framing plan or other details on how the new 5/8 FR plywood will be supported for the attachment of the security barrier shown above the ceiling in partition type 3 and 5 on sheet G1.1 above the secured storage area. Clarify if this room is to have a painted GYP ceiling or a ACT under the plywood. 10. Provide details for the installation of the new store front doors in Lobby (frame and threshold) into the existing store front aluminum window system.
