07/20/2023 Commercial Structural REQUIRES RESUBMIT Please submit your revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed.
1. Within your code analysis, you indicated that corridor protection is not required therefore not provided. Using Table 1020.1 in occupancy B, without sprinklers, 1 hour fire rating is required. Please make the necessary correction and add the necessary modification of the corridors on the drawings to meet this code requirement. Please indicate as well if there is a Fire Alarm System.
2. Within your code analysis Rooms or Areas on Table 803.13 is C (76-200). Please make the necessary correction.
3. Lavatories you indicated 1 is required. One per 40 of the first 80 per Table 2902.1 two is required.
4. Please label/indicate on your plan which is the Women and Men restroom.
5. Please correct me if I am wrong. TO USE THE SERVICE SINK, ONE MUST GO OUT THE FRONT DOOR FROM SUITE 101, GET INTO ROOM 125 THEN INTO ROOM 125A AND THEN GO OUT OF ROOM 125A, OUT OF ROOM 125 GET BACK INTO THE FRONT DOOR OF SUITE 101 TO USE A MOP AND CLEAN A SOILED AREA ROOM 113 LOCATED AT THE VERY BACK OF THE BUILDING.
6. Per IBC 2902.5Drinking Fountain shall be located on an accessible route. FOUNTAIN MUST BE READILY ACCESSIBLE TO BOTH STAFF AND THE PUBLIC (THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS IT IN AN ENCLOSED PRIVATE ROOM, NOT VISIBLE FROM THE PUBLIC). PLEASE CORRECT THIS CONDITION.
7. PROVIDE AN EGRESS PLAN ALONG WITH THE DIMENSION OF THE OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILIDING, THE DIMENSION BETWEEN THE TWO EXITS, SHOW THE PATH OF TRAVEL ON THE PLAN AS WELL AS THE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS EXITING AT EACH EXIT.

Locate and label on the plan the lighted signs, emergency lights and the fire extinguishers.

10. Provide a Site Plan that shows the parking stalls being used, the handicapped stalls along with their sign and striped accessible route. Please locate and label the location of the bicycle racks.
11. An Operator's License must be applied for with the State, the absence of this license shall void this building permit.
12. Submit a draft copy of the State License application as part of the permit submittal.
