The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. Review will not proceed without the response letter. COMMENTS: 1. SPECIAL MOMENT RESISTING STEEL FRAME: Per our telephone conversation the other day, the City uses this special inspection to confirm that all of the correct structural members are installed per the approved drawings. This includes posts, hip members, ridge member, connectors used, braces if applicable, etc. Please submit the Field Report in accordance with Section 1704 of the International Building Code for Special Inspections. As mentioned, Tom Tiedemann of Western Technologies Inc have already done the Welding inspection and he is approved to do inspection on Structural Steel and Bolting. 2. HIGH STRENGTH BOLTING: Should the result of the field inspection is that high strength bolting is not used at the job site for this project, Tom Tiedemann can write a memo to this effect, seal/sign/date it and submit it along with the Special Inspection Certificate form. 3. We understand that you already submitted a couple of the field reports, please re-submit all field reports as listed in the Category list within the Special Inspection Certificate form. This will allow the City to review and approve all field reports at one time. 4. Please re-submit.
