COMMENTS:

1. The corridor is still being utilized as a return air path for the adjoining rooms. Corridors shall not be used as return air ducts unless one of the exceptions in Section 601.2 applies. Please revise the HVAC system to provide a return air path that does not utilize the corridor, such as providing return air from the individual rooms directly back to the HVAC unit. Reference: Section 601.2, IMC 2024.
