The City of Tucson understands labeling all elements within this tenant space as existing. However, the city does not have any record of a building permit for this new space configuration (the last recorded permit/document was 1993). Therefore, everything shown on these set of drawings shall be treated as new for this review/permit. Should you have a copy of the approved T.I. permit drawings and the Certificate of Occupancy that issued, please submit a copy of our file as record. 2. Wall Type B, C, D, E are all called out as existing on Sheet A101. a. NOTE: The entire back portion of the currently shown two spaces were occupied by a sausage shop/restaurant. Therefore, demising walls did not exist. b. Please submit wall detail drawing(s) illustrating code compliance from the slab to the underside of the roof deck. Please ensure to apply the following: i. Tenant separation using fire partition with fire-resistance rating of not less than 1 hour per IBC 402.4.2.1 and IBC 708 extend from the top of the foundation or floor/ceiling assembly below to the underside of the floor or roof sheathing, deck or slab above shall have penetration complying to IBC 714 and joints complying with IBC 715 protected by an approved fire-resistant joint system to resist the passage of fire for a time period not less than the required fire-resistance rating of the wall, floor or roof in or between which the system is installed. 3. Drinking Fountain: The water dispenser must be connected to a permanent supply of potable water. The plumbing Sheet P100 does not show this connection to a permanent water supply. Please make this correction. 4. Mop Sink: Sheet P100 does not show a mop sink. Please correct this condition. 5. Please resubmit. |
