The Mechanical New Work Plan shows four 5-ton rooftop units with two supplying 2,000 CFM, one supplying 1,200 CFM, and one delivering 2,400 CFM. The Outdoor Air Calculation, however, shows a 10-ton unit (4,000 CFM), a 6-ton unit (2,400 CFM), and a 3-ton unit (1,200 CFM). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2024. 2. The Outdoor Air Calculation includes a “Small Animal Cage Room (ventilated Cages).” Provide a detail showing how the individual cages are ventilated. The calculation calls for 150 CFM of exhaust for a 100 square foot area. Where is this area? What is the justification for not using Pet shops (animal areas), instead of the entries for veterinary offices? Reference: Section 403.3.1.1, IMC 2024.
