COMMENTS:

1. Please provide as-built mechanical plans.
a. The plans shall identify all existing mechanical equipment, ceiling supply diffusers, return air grilles, exhaust fans (with the rated CFM), etc. (IBC 2024, Section 107.2.1)
b. Provide an outdoor air ventilation schedule. Show how the proposed mechanical system meets the minimum outdoor air ventilation and exhaust airflow requirements. (IMC 2024, Section 403.3.1.1)
c. Please demonstrate that cat lounge areas are provided with exhaust ventilation in accordance with Table 403.3.1.1.

COMMENTS:

1. For a Business Occupancy, a service sink and drinking fountain are required in accordance with Table 2902.1 of the 2024 IBC. Please show the location of these required fixtures on the plans.
2. Provide plumbing plans for the grooming area expansion. The plans indicate what appears to be a sink and an existing water heater. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2024.
