Sheet CS.1: Please revise the code summary on the construction documents to reflect the editions of codes currently adopted by the City of Tucson, in accordance with IBC Section 107.2.1. For example, update references to align with the adopted codes per the City’s ordinance, including the 2023 National Electrical Code and the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code. 2024 International Building Code (IBC) 2024 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) 2017 ICC A117.1 Accessibility Code (by reference) 2024 International Mechanical Code (IMC) 2024 International Plumbing Code (IPC) 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) 2024 International Fire Code (IFC) 2018 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) 2. Please review the stated project valuation of $100.00. Based on the adopted fee schedule, the project square footage, and classification as a Level 2 (alteration area less than 50% of the building), the value derived from the default calculation is much higher than what was specified on the permit application Please provide a copy of the construction contract or detailed estimates to verify the project valuation. If a additional information is not provided, the permit fees will be assessed based on the calculated valuation in accordance with IBC 109.3 and the adopted fee schedule. 3. Sheet A2.0/ & Sheet A7/detail 3: Please revise plans to show a parallel approach or provide knee and toe clearance at checkout desk. 2017 ICC A117.1& IBC 107.2.1 4. Please revise the plans to indicate the gauge and thickness of the metal studs and revise the referenced detail callouts to match the sheets included in the plan set. For example, the shorter wall detail references Detail 5/A.4; however, Sheet A.4 is not included in the submitted plan set. The referenced detail appears to be located on Sheet A.7.
