If you are moving into a space with the same type of use as a previous tenant and are not making changes to the space, you do not need a new CofO. The previous CofO should be used. PDSD does not use tenant names, only the type of business https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Planning-Development-Services/Permits/Occupancy-Certificates Please confirm if you are in need of a Certificate of Occupancy and proceed as follows: If “no” – please request withdrawal of this permit https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/pdsd/documents/tdc-faq/new-pdfs/withdraws-and-extensions.pdf If “yes” - please provide construction documents for changes THE CITY DOES NOT ACCEPT CONSTRUCTION PLANS WHICH CONTAIN PREVIOUSLY APPROVED APPROVAL STAMPS. In general, a Certificate of Occupancy Construction Plan should contain the following: Site plan Floor plan Code analysis and egress plan prepared by a registered Arizona architect or engineer Please resubmit to this permit.
