TC-COM-0525-01010 PROJECT: COMMERCIAL POOL – THE PLACE AT RITA NORTH ADDRESS/PARCEL: 8731 S HOUGHTON RD Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2018 International Residential Code and 2018 International Energy Conservation Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. COMMENTS: 1. On EP 106 (and all subsequent plans), remove the FOR REFERENCE ONLY note on the sheet. 2. On EP 106, show emergency shut off valve on the pool plan. Please include a detail showing the height that it will be placed at. 3. On SP122, label the gas line as either existing or by others. 4. Please include the bather load calcs for both the pool and span on the planset. 5. Also include which class of pool this is, Class A? Class E? 6. Include a note on the site plan that this is a non-diving pool. 7. Include a total of square footage of decking on the proposed pool on the pool plans – not the landscape plans. 8. On the pool site plan, show where the public restrooms are. Please upload your revised plans to TDC-Online with a revision letter outlining what has been revised on the doc set. Resubmittals will not be accepted without the revision letter that answers all of the above comments. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Show or Note that all applicable electrical work shall comply with, Corrosive Environment – NEC 680.7, 680.14. REF Sheet EP106 General Notes #5. Reference the correct Aqua Design Plans sheet that this note refers to. 2. Provide Equipotential Bonding per 680.26. the pool shell, reinforcing steel, perimeter surfaces, metallic components, fixed metal parts, etc., shall be bonded per 680.26. Reference the correct bonding detail. 3. Remove the “FOR REFERANCE ONLY” notation from all pages. 4. Clarify if the site lighting is part of this scope of work.
