Should the above not followed, it may delay your approval. COMMENTS: 1. BOOTH LOCATION - Please look at the Mechanical comments. a. The distance from the property lines to the spray booth are not sufficient. 2. FLOOR PLAN a. Please submit a floor plan illustrating the location of the paint booth within the building. i. Please resolve the issue in item #1 above and reflect solution within the floor plan. b. Locate and label the paint mixing booth. c. Locate and label the paint storage. i. Provide quantity of each product kept within the storage enclosure. 1. Include this information within your code analysis. d. Locate and label the storage for leftover paint/flammable waste. e. Show the spaces that are adjacent to this paint booth along with their occupant loads. 3. MEANS OF EGRESS a. Provide a means of egress pattern on the plan drawing. i. At the point of exit, indicate the distance traveled, the required exit width, the actual exit width and the number of people exiting. b. Provide a door schedule enumerating the mechanisms/parts used such as panic hardware, door rating, latch mechanism, closer mechanism, etc. 4. CODE ANALYSIS a. Provide a complete code analysis. b. Provide the calculation for the occupant load. 5. SPRINKLER AND FIRE ALARM a. Submit the fire sprinkler and alarm permit application to Tucson Fire Department for review and approval. 6. Conductor type and conduit size/type. Note wet use requirements. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. How is power getting from an existing panel to the new paint booth? 2. Provide new and updated panel schedules, showing the circuits that are being modified, added or removed. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. 3. Designate the circuit number, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each new or modified light fixture, receptacle, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4.
