Please amend the plans to show the required 1-hour fire-resistive rating for the shaft enclosure, as indicated by IBC 713.2 and IBC 707 and IBC 711. 3. Please amend the plans where fire-resistance wall separation is required, amend plans to indicate the existing fire-rating of the partition wall or provide new and cross-reference assembly detail. For new 1-hour fire-rated assemblies, provide construction details with basis of approval by one of the following: A. Listing number approved by third-party testing agency (i.e., UL, GA) B. Item number for prescriptive fire-resistive assembly under IBC Table 721.1(2) C. Prescriptive assembly constructed under IBC 722.6. 4. Please amend the plans to note or otherwise indicate the penetrations of non-fire-resistance-rated floor or floor/ceiling assemblies shall be filled to resist the free passage of flame and the products of combustion with an approved noncombustible material or with a fill, void or cavity material that is tested and classified for use in through-penetration firestop systems.
