Should the above not followed, it may delay your approval. COMMENTS: 1. Sheet A1.1 a. This is a permit for the small, detached office. i. The code review checklist is not for this detached office, it is for the behavioral health structure which is the existing residence structure. 1. Please correct this to cater to the detached office, information to be used for the certificate of occupancy servicing the behavioral health facility. b. This detached office/existing office is not a line item within the Area Calculation-SF. i. Please correct this omission and add it as another row item. c. Sheet Title i. Please add to it to show: “Certificate of Occupancy for the Detached Existing Office” d. Add a cloud around the existing office structure and label it a Project Location. 2. Sheet A2.2 a. The Elevation Keynotes is not used in any of the drawings on the sheet. b. Foundation Plan i. Please rotate the plan to match the orientation with the rest of the plans. ii. Provide a floor or landing at each side of an exterior door, width not less than the door & minimum 36 inches in the direction of travel. R311.3 c. Electrical Plan i. Provide wall-switched-controlled illumination on the exterior side of each outdoor egress doors. IRC E3903.3 ii. Provide Panel Schedule & load calculation. iii. Provide separate circuit for Mini Split/HVAC, install per manufacturer's specifications. iv. SUBMIT THE MANUAL J, D, S & EXTENDED RATING TABLE (DEFERRED SUBMITTALS WILL INCUR REVIEW FEES) 1. Locate the equipment locations on the drawing and provide electrical power. v. Please verify and confirm that the number of receptacles is sufficient, should more be needed….please add more receptacles. vi. Install an emergency light with battery backup. 1. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. 2. Designate the circuit number, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each new or modified light fixture, receptacle, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4. 3. Show a single feeder or branch circuit to the accessory (detached) building, NEC 225.30. 4. Show all wiring methods in detail for all new or modified branch circuit conductors and feeders.
