Please provide information on the electrical plans as to how this will be accomplished. Provide a wiring diagram or explain how the mechanical equipment is to be wired to provide the necessary sequence of operation.

07/10/2024 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Southwest Gas, the local gas utility, provides natural gas at 7” WG, 2 PSIG, and 5 PSIG. Appliances needing gas service at 7” WG or greater will require a gas meter that delivers at least 2 PSIG gas into a regulator located after the meter set. Reference: Section 402.1, IFGC 2018.
2. Keynote 8 on P300 calls for an existing 2” gas pipe to be upgraded to 2-1/2” but the note at that section of pipe states that it is a new 2” pipe. Clarify the intended pipe size.
3. With regard to the boxed note, “Nonresidential Notes” on P000, if any lavatory faucets are replaced, the replacements shall be metering faucets. The metering faucets shall dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds for accessibility. Tempered water for the lavatories in restrooms shall be provided using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Section 412.11, 419.5, and 607.1.2, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
4. Appliances (e.g. beverage dispensers, ice makers, etc.) to be directly connected to the water supply system that do not have listed, integral backflow preventers or integral air gaps conforming to Section 608.14.1, IPC 2018 require backflow prevention. Specify the type of backflow prevention device required for each water connection. Reference: Sections 608.1 and 608.3, IPC 2018.
5. If the 3-compartment sink is used only for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing utensils used for food service, the sink shall drain indirectly to the grease interceptor with an air gap or an air break. If, however, the 3-compartment sink is also used for the preparation of food items, separate indirect waste pipes shall be provided for each compartment to protect against cross-contamination or fouling and each indirect drain shall terminate with an air gap. Reference: Sections 801.2, 802.1.1, and 802.1.7, IPC 2018.
6. Revise the peninsula waste and vent detail (6/P001) to provide the cleanouts described in Section 916.3, IPC 2018 for all of the vent piping located below the flood level rim of the connected fixtures. Reference: Section 901.2.1, IPC 2018.

This site is located in the C-1 zone (UDC 4.7.20). Food Service: Excluding Soup Kitchens is a allowed use in the zone (UDC Table 4.8-4), subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.4.M.1 & 5 and 4.9.13.O.

1. The outdoor seating shown on the plan constitutes and expansion of use area. Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c A site plan (Development Package) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building. A development package (DP) meeting the requirements of Administrative Manual (AM) 2-06 must be submitted and approved prior to approval of this building plan. Zoning acknowledges that development package DP18-0153 showed the outdoor seating but the DP has expired. Either submit a new DP or provide approved permit documents that show the outdoor seating.
