Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. 1. It appears the submitted plans were largely incomplete, the comments below were most likely applicable to this project, however this will not be known until the project scope and description is better described. More comments will likely be generated after the next plan review. 2. Please indicate a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope. IBC 105.3 and show all changes on the plans. 3. Please provide an existing building plan and a demolition building plan to represent the scope of work included in this permit. IBC 107.2.1 There is no record found to indicate previous permitted remodeling. 4. Please amend occupancy group to include the use within R-4. For example, R-4 Assisted living Facility or ?. IBC 310.5 5. Please provide additional drawings of Bathroom 111 to show compliance the requirements of 2009 ICC A117.1 Please include, enlarged floor plan, north/south section thru shower floor and bathroom floor. Additionally, please note: Floor surfaces of a turning space shall comply with Section 302. Changes in level are not permitted within the turning space. 2009 ICC A117.1 304.2 EXCEPTION: Slopes not steeper than 1:48 shall be permitted. A. Please show the Knee and toe clearance below lavatory, pipe protection, Automatic faucets. Lavatories installed in all buildings other than R3 occupancies, individual units of R2 occupancies, or International Residential Code structures shall be provided with automatic faucets dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallon per metering cycle. 419.6 as amended. Additionally, Verify that the specified sensor faucet for the restroom lavatory has an automatic time-out so that it will operate for at least 10-seconds for accessibility and dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09 5. Indicate if the above bathroom 111 is a new addition to this structure. If so please indicate all the alterations made to the structure, plumbing and mechanical systems on the plans with the next submittal. IBC 107.2.1 7.
