1. Sheet a0.1; Exhaust Hoods are included with plans, clarify intent of listing as separate submittal. If intent is to proceed and include in this review, provide all equipment in kitchen and specs. DMA
2. Sheet a0.1, 2018 IBC Ch 5; Building is existing, however the existing building data is still required for height and area. DMA
3. Sheet a0.2, 2018 IBC [A]107.2.6 Site plan. The construction documents submitted with the application for permit shall be accompanied by a site plan showing to scale the size and location of new construction and existing structures on the site, distances from lot lines; and it shall be drawn in accordance with an accurate boundary line survey. Also see Table 602 for fire separation distance requirements. DMA
4. Sheet A0.2, 2018 IBC 1028.1 General. Exits shall discharge directly to the exterior of the building. The exit discharge shall be at grade or shall provide a direct path of egress travel to grade. The exit discharge shall not reenter a building. The combined use of Exceptions 1 and 2 shall not exceed 50 percent of the number and minimum width or required capacity of the required exits. The two exterior exits from the outdoor dining are still within the exit access portion of the means of egress. In order to comply with remote 2nd means of egress requirements Door 100c must be factored in. DMA
5. Sheet A0.2, 2009 A117.1 404.2.3.2 Swinging Doors. Swinging doors shall have maneuvering clearances complying with Table 404.2.3.2. Door schedule shows gates 100b and 100c is gate that self closes. Provide a minimum of 12 inches as shown in Fig b. DMA

8. Sheet a5.1, 2018 IBC 1010.1.10 Panic and fire exit hardware. Swinging doors serving an occupant load of 50 or more in a Group A occupancy shall not be provided with a latch or lock other than panic hardware or fire exit hardware. Gates 100b and 100c. NOTE: 1010.2 Gates. Gates serving the means of egress system shall comply with the requirements of this section. Gates used as a component in a means of egress shall conform to the applicable requirements for doors. DMA
9. Sheet P1.3, 2018 IFGC and 2018 IPC; As required for review and to verify compliance with several applicable codes, provide either a scaled gas and drainage isometric or can be dimensioned to determine developed lengths. DMA

05/26/2024 Fire New Construction REQUIRES RESUBMIT -Sheet A0.2 shows an exit sign over the drink station however this sign is not shown on the electrical sheets. Remove this exit sign and modify exit plan. An exit from the dining room cannot pass through a kitchen. IFC 1016 #5.
-Indicate if bulk CO2 for beverage dispensing will be used and location of CO2 container/dewar. If bulk CO2 >100 lbs, CO2 alarm is required per IFC 5307.3.2.
