The cycle time shall not be less than ten-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 3. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018 (e.g. 24” for ½” supply pipe). 4. Provide the number of drinking fountains that complies with the requirements of Sections 2902.1 and 2902.5, IBC 2018 and Section 410.3, IPC 2018. Sheet G-111: Please amend plan so all IBC code references are referring to the 2018 edition. IBC 107.2.1 For example, Sheet G-111 Exiting plan and Sheet A-700 ….are showing 2012, 2015 IBC. Please treat this as a typical note. See bubbled areas on plans. 2. Sheet A-111: Please amend plans to show how the accessibility elements have been upgraded. IEBC 305.7 requires that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. If these items are not fully compliant, upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7. For example, Restroom A does not appear to be fully compliant with the 2009 ICC A117.1 604.3 clearances around the water closet. A. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. If this exemption is taken, accessibility upgrades equaling 20% of the cost of the project shall be made. 3.
